Without any spoilers, do you need to watch season 1 before season 2? I'm not sure if they have self-contained story lines or if it carries over... 😕
 
Season 2 will be totally different, such as plot twist and new characters (of course). How they will free the terrorist leader from prison will be interesting.

Just go out and rent the 1st season on DVD. There's only 3 DVD's to the entire 1st sereis and I think it may be too stressful to own it. If you have a DVR through your local cable provider, you can also load the previous shows on the Video on Demand service.

I enjoy the other shows on Showtime inlcuding Dexter and Masters of Horror.
