After watching the season 6 of 24 so far, and catching the episode tonight as well, then watching some remaining episodes of Sleeper Cell season 2, I can clearly say that Sleeper Cell is a better show than 24.

That is all, thanks.

Woah I think it's completely the opposite. I think s2 is a lot more intense with a lot more action and a lot more stuff going on. I'm on episode 8 right now, few more to go.

Maybe that's a good thing. I find it kind of sad that I tend to laugh more at Jack than I do take him serious anymore.

I submit that the two shows are incomparable since one is pay and the other isn't.

There is lots of stuff I like on HBO and Showtime that would never see the light of day on broadcast TV.

MI-5 / Spooks seasons 1-2 were better than seasons 1-2 of 24.

No Elisha Cuthbert but also no endless whining and crying and Kim-napping.

Seasons 3-5 of MI-5/Spooks were miles better than seasons 3-5 of 24 too. I still enjoy the Bauer Power Hour, but at this point it's almost a parody of itself that doesn't even try to keep things within the realm of possibility (events happening at the speed of "24 time", ridiculous plot twists, etc.). MI-5/Spooks has become more action-oriented over time, but most of its plots feel like things that could actually happen, and not something a Hollywood writer with an overactive imagination dreamed up.

I must try Sleeper Cell next--I've heard lots of positive things about it but haven't gotten around to watching it.

:p

I didn't like that game before I even played it though, so I went in with a bias, and it was worse than I expected.
