my computer, even though it's a dell, sounds loud enough.

i sleep with my door closed and my window open, trying to get as cold as possible, and i try to sleep w/o any noise. i occasionally have my computer on, but i prefer it off.

i answered yes, cause my computer's on more often than not these days.

I have to because:

1) I hate when I can't feel the air in the room circulating. Seems stuffy and stale to me, even if it's cold.

2) If it's too quiet I hear ringing in my ears.

<---partially deaf, I cant sleep without one, unless im drunk.

And yes, I sleep with the fan on.

At first, I thought someone bumped that old thread.

Wow, I didn't know this many people slept with a ceiling fan on..

I also have to have my ceiling fan on year round.. otherwise I can't get to sleep...

DITTO.

I got in the habit after being in the military dorms for 4 years. Now I can't live without it.

A fan is too cold in the winter so I bought this.

I sleep with 6 fans going all the time.

Of course I sleep in the same room as my computer. And we keep our window open in the dorm since it gets so freaking hot in the room. Seriously though, that low humming sound is almost theraputic.

I always have it on, during the winter at least. During the summer I have a window unit A/C running. Plus, I have music playing at night (Classical or Native American flute music).
