I've been up since Friday morning and haven't hit the bed since. So what've I been doing?
Let's see--woke up Friday around 9, started studying, went to the bar around noon to watch basketball, kept on studying, took an exam at 6pm, finished around 8pm, went out to a bar, watched more basketball, drank around 6 22oz Bass/Killians, got back around 2am, went to a party at the neighbors, drank a few jagerbomb shots (hello RED BULL!), smoked a cigar, realized i hadn't packed yet, went back to my place and packed my stuff, realized it was now 5am and flight at 8, so I went to a diner, had some breakfast and coffee, took a cab to the airport, got on my flight...
..slept for about 45 minutes on the plane in between people bumping me in the aisle and this lady climbing over me to use the bathroom...
...got home to Charlotte around 10am, waited in the airport until 10:30 for my ride, went to the mall, picked out a wedding gift from the registry, got it wrapped, got home, enjoyed more basketball on the HDTV...
...Fell alseep in front of the TV for 2 hours...
...got up, ate a snack, took a shower, went to a wedding with my parents, realized (after I got there) that I know the guy getting married from undergrad, hang out with a bunch of Carolina peeps I didn't even know would be at the wedding--open bar!, since I'm driving I only have two Grey & tonics; meet up with a girl I know at the wedding, take her out to an afterparty with the groom and acquaintances, she gets smashed (everyone but me is smashed--I limit myself to a jagerbomb group shot) so I then I drop her off at her place and come home.
So now I'm on IM with friends on the Left coast and browsing forums, and it dawns on me that my knack for not getting enough sleep is probably causing me to age prematurely. Besides cutting coffee and Red Bull out of my diet, how do I cure insomnia?
