Sleep question

Chaotic42

Lifer
I work from 12am-6am, would it be possible to sleep from say, 9pm-12am then from 6am-10am? Can sleep work like that?

I'm just tired of sleeping all day.

Maybe YOUR sleep can work like that. I can't nap, my sleep must be in one solid block. It might work for you though... Won't know till you try it! Plus if you really needed that second block of sleep, wouldn't you be very tired during your awake period in between sleep?

Yeah, but my job doesn't require being very alert.

Considered using some type of stimulant and taking sleep out of the equation? Make a blog of the experience! Real men make blogs!

No thanks, I have enough health problems. I've considered quitting the job and working during the day, but I don't know where I'd work.

Yeah sleep "works that way." I had Sociology 101 during the summer at 7:00 in the morning. I'd sleep from like 2-6, go to class, then sleep from 10-3. Worked okay for me.

Same for me.

As I see it if you're sleeping for more than 2 hours at a time, you should be OK. Your body will get used to it after a while.
