I have an X25-M SSD for my system drive and a 2TB WD Green for my data drive under Win7. After resuming from sleep mode, the 2TB Green drive disappears and cannot be recovered without rebooting--based on Googling, this appears to be a documented problem with Win7 and the Microsoft SATA driver. However the solution, upgrading to the Intel Matrix storage driver, will result in TRIM commands not being passed to the X25-M... correct? I remember reading this at some point on anandtech.
Anyone else in this boat? Does anyone have a solution whereby I can have my cake and eat it too? IE get TRIM and get the WD Green to show up after sleep mode?
