Heya all, I've got a asus n75s now for a 2-3 months and ran into an odd issue.

When I close the lid to get it to enter sleep it doesn't want to go to sleep but stays powered up as indicated by the status buttons(screen does go black) when my g5 mouse or my iphone is connected via USB. If I unplug the USB, it goes back to sleep no issues.

Now when I get try to wake it from sleep with a USB device attached, by opening the lid, it won't wake either.

I ran into a message when I plugged my mouse in the USB port saying something aboud enabling wake device will disable asusInstantON; do you want to continue? to which I said no. I'm assuming there's some issue at play here but I'm not familiar with the program enough to know that much.

So has anyone ran into this before or has any advice?

Go Start-> search for "Power Options"

Click on "Change Plan Settings"

Scroll down to "USB Settings"-> "USB Selective Suspend Settings"

is that enabled or disabled for you?
