Reading through PC Gamer I came across a title which piqued my curiosity: Sleep is Death

It's a two player story telling framework - one player takes on the role of a single character within the scene, while the other controls the environment as a narrator (DM/GM). After initial setup, each has 30 seconds to manage their 'turn', building the story as they go along. After completion, you can revisit your story in the form of a 'flip book'.

It has some nostalgic graphics:

Has anyone tried this out? I was hoping to have an opportunity to play it with my wife this weekend.

Looks interesting. Also its a "pay what you want" game with a min price of $1.75 so its not really a risk. I might pick it up, I just wish there was some kind of match making or a demo. I don't know if I have the skills to make the environments.

Thanks for the feedback. I picked it up last night, but the interface was a bit overwhelming at first (caveat: I was a few drinks deep at the time).

If anyone is familiar with the sort of sprite based video game design, it should be a breeze to pickup (there's even a music editor), but it's something my wife and I will need to devote an hour or two to learn the interface.
