Sleep in Vista

I used to have trouble with sleep. It would crash coming out of it more times than it didn't. About a week ago I accidentally used sleep instead of shutdown, and it worked fine. I've been putting the computer to sleep for a week now without problems. MS released a reliability update a couple of weeks ago, and fixing sleep may have been one of the fixes. So if you were having problems give it another try. It may work for you now.

I was just about to post something regarding sleep, but saw this. I have tried to use it, but when I try to boot it back up my video won't come on. It's getting power, but seems like it's still in sleep mode. Can't figure out what to do.

Until recently I've had a lot of issues with hibernate and sleep in both XP and Vista. I can't give much advice other than update all your drivers, and the bios for your mb, and make sure Windows is fully updated. Maybe that'll help, especially your mb bios.
