I saw this in TheWart's sig, I thought it was hilarious (and true!).


So, which two did you pick while in college/university? For me, first half (of last semester) was sleep and fun and after failing 2 midterms, it was sleep ad grades. 😀

Its a spin on the old rule of business. Speed, Quality, Cost. Pick Two.

In general, you gotta make some tradeoffs, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

My last quarter at Michigan Tech I took the road less travelled. Flunked out, but had a shitload of fun doing it. Oh, the late-night CS sessions...

Those results are almost uniform (neglecting the results vote). I guess I'm with the slight minority who chose sleep and grades. Most of the people I know choose grades and fun. The way I see it, I can't function without 8 hours of sleep each night, and I'm paying for college, so I might as well get good grades. That leaves very little time for fun (especially in Electrical Engineering).

Are you my long lost twin? I'm in the exact same situation, except I am in CE.
