Um, OK I'm new at this..

Epox 8KHA+
Tekram SCSI DC-390U3W Controller
Seagate SCSI drive (15000rpm) (O/S and apps)
Western Digital IDE HD (for storage)
Pioneer DVD (slot)
Liteon CD-RW

The seagate goes on the SCSI controller card, but with two channels and 3 more devices, which one should be a slave? Should I put the optical drives on the same channel do you think? Or put one of them on the storage HD channel?

I have my system set up with 2 SCSI drives, the CD-RW as primary master, the DVD-CD as secondary master, the 40GB IBM as primary slave and the ZIP drive as secondary slave.
I had to disable the 40GB HD when installing the OS's, maybe I did it wrong, but the system works fine.
I have a 8K7A+.

I re-enabled the 40GB IDE HD after I installed Win98 and Win2K. The reason I had to dis-able it was the OS's were seeing it as Drive 0 and wanted to install to it, even though I selected boot from SCSI and formated the 40GB as an extended partition.
Someone may come up with a better method, but like I said my system is running fine.
