I am Running Windows 95 on a 4.3 gigabyte hard drive with three partitions (C:,D:,E:,) and a CD-ROM on F:. If I install a 8.4 gigabyte hard drive with two partitions as a slave drive.
What will be the drive letter assignment for the 8.4gig slave drive's Primary Partition?

Methinks that Win95 will put the CDROM last, so the slave should have "F:" and "G:" on it. d00d, run 2000. :)

D: primary, G: extended

I have heard if you make the entire drive in the extended partition they could be F:, G:. I have tried to do this in fdisk from Micro$oft and was not able to create 0 bytes in the primary partition.

Maybe partition magic can do that.

Hope this helps.
