I don't like Scalia's political bent... but, ya gotta admire a fellow who don't see stuff that ain't there. I speak of the 14th Amendment and what has become of it.. it use to be simply...

Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I edited out 2 - 5 because it just took up space...

Now show me where in there all that has come from it came.:confused: OK I guess you could infer all that from the vague language in section 1.. but, geepers lets make it clear..

If we agree as a state and as states with in the republic then that is the way it should be.
