"hecka" or "hella" (I can't help saying it because i'm from the Bay Area--though I can't think of how i would survive without this word. How else am I suppose to say "a lot of" without saying "a lot of" ?
These just aren't aging well to me. Or is it when slang gets adopted by square older people (fellow co-workers saying "you go girl"), or gets overly used by young white teenage girls, that it needs to get dropped fairly quickly.
Slang that's still ok by me:
"i ain't mad at that"
"neat!"
"my bad"
"weaksauce"
"sweet" but NOT "schweeet"
"fresh" "rad" "ill" "sick" "dope" (i'm so so on "tight")
"what it do" (although i haven't heard it used in the real world, I would love to hear it so that i can respond, "it iz what it iz"
