Im trying to play civilization 4 on gamespy.

I scan the C drive, it doesnt find the game... which is clearly installed. I point it to the folder the game is installed in (which is the default directory) and it still doesnt find it. It just says "all of your files are up to date". Thanks for letting me know gamespy.

I have never used this in the past, because i know its crap, but it appears that internet games of civ4 can ONLY be played through gamespy. There is no browser built into the game.

This is a fileplanet Direct2Drive install of the game, that is properly registered.

The game runs fine in all other modes, ive been playing it for months.

It is patched to current.
