SL9UM q6600 - goal is 3GHz on lowest core voltage. Realistic expectations?

Got a SL9UM q6600 for a steal a day or two before I ran into financial trouble (unrelated, just in case someone already knows and asks why I bought this)...

I prefer running q6600 at 333x9, can I expect it to run stable at that, and what is the lowest volts you all think I can get it prime stable at that speed? I am only familiar with SLACR q6600.

is that G0 stepping? My brother is running a G0 stepping at 333x9 without issue on stock volts.

SL9UM is B3, right? If so, then I am pretty confident to say that that is not a realistic expectation, they clock pretty horrible (3.3'ish) even with increased voltage.

G0's had much more headroom, my SLACR G0 did 400x8 on its default voltage (1.275v).

For a B3 stepping you will have more difficulty finding a mobo that will support a 333MHz FSB with that kentsfield quad. As for voltage, you are definitely going to have to bump up the voltage over stock to get to 3GHz.

Do you have a good cooler (like a Tuniq tower or equivalent) for the LGA775 socket?

Yes, my main system right now is running with a Q9650 stock, motherboard is a GA-P35-DS4 v2.1, and I have an evga tower heatsink I have been using on my thuban x6 @3.5GHz. The Q9650 is going into a board which does not allow overvolting.

The EVGA HSF as that review shows, is an extremely good near-liquid cooling capability heatsink.
