Does anybody have or have heard of problems with a large HSF fitting onto the Soltek SL-75DRV2 Mobo?

Please advise

Well you cannot install an Alpha 8045 on this board just not enough room. I am currently using a Swiftech mcx462 on mine with room to spare. The problem is, you have to watch out for the 3 caps that run along side of the CPU socket. Friend of mine has a Thermalright SK-6 on his. Best bet is to go to the website of the HSF your looking at and check for compatability.

I think some people have been able to get a thermaltake volcano 7 on but its a tight fit against those caps. I have been considering this HSF too. I currently run a Speeze big rock that also comes up snug to the cap with an 80mm fan....thinking about trying a delta fan on it before trying the V7.
