About Skype, is this program full of spyware?

Is it safe to use in a business environment along with sensitive data?

We use it for our business meetings, voice quality is much better than the speakerphone at the office for conference calls. No spyware/adware. Your communications are also encrypted end-to-end, although I thought there was a recent article (on /. ? ) about a discovered vulnerability there.

Edit: Upon searching /., it looks like the Protocol was cracked, not a security vulnerability.

I have the program and it seems to work quite well and I haven't seen any spyware at all. The sound quality is quite good too.
My friend called my cell with Skype and I almost couldn't tell that it was coming from a computer (there were a couple points where the sound seemed to lag a bit but it sounded fantastic for over a computer).

Skype is like a voip standard... they just started doing video chat too, which works alright. They've been around a while. No worries.

No spyware, don't worry. Free calls to anywhere in the US until the end of the year.
