I call echo123 often. She isn't much of a conversationalist, but she always listens.

I bought the Sennheiser PC 140 headset specifically for use with Skype. It's pretty good, really lightweight and looks cool. A bit uncomfortable around the ears at first. Mic boom is adjustable too.

Which one, might I ask? Mine recently died (yesterday, actually) after 5 years of use.

Am looking at the Sennheiser PC150, or the PC155.

I haven't used Skype in a while. I had to download the latest version. Plus I still have 14 Euros worth of minutes left to use :p

Is it tricky to get it working behind a firewall? I'd like to have at the office, but they are strict about opening ports...

I haven't looked in to what ports Skype uses, but I keep my home network locked down tighter than a ... well, nevermind. Anyway, it works just fine at home. I keep forgetting to bring in my headset to work. Work is even more secure and I can get skype to connect and I can chat at work - I haven't tried talking over it yet, though. If it uses the same ports to pass VOIP than it does to send the text chats, I'm golden.

I got mine for $16 at Target.
