not Skype to Skype, this is for Skype Out where you are calling from a Computer/Skype software TO a POTS or Cell phone number

wasn't this known? i thought i remembered reading on their site some time over the summer that they weren't charging for skype out for the rest of this year.

Skype is great, I just bought a 20$ phone handset that plugs into USB for skype


No landlines anymore. Canceled that overpriced phone company monopoly junk.

Yup...I'll be paying. SkypeIn works just as well as a regular phone.

Very hot. In fact when Ebay bought skype they said it was free only thru the remainder of 2006, and then I expected it to go back to $.02 a minute. $15 a year is insane. :thumbsup:

No reason to sign up for it yet tho, since the $15 1yr price is good until 1/31/07.
