Skype doesn't see Webcam on boot up.

I have skype set to run on windows start. When I boot my computer skype does not see my webcam. I have to quit out of skype and rerun it and then it sees it fine.

It's almost like skype gets loaded before the webcam driver does on bootup so it doesn't see it.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Is there a way to force all the hardware drivers to load first?

I have a Logitech S5500 Webcam.

Look through your Skype options. Some programs have an option to delay startup for just these sort of problems. If there isn't one, you can get the same effect by Right-clicking My Computer, clicking "Manage", go to "Services" and finding the one for Skype. Look in it's properties, and there will be a way to change it to "Automatic(Delay Start)."
