Skylake price?

Hello

My current cpu is a i3-2120 and I'm considering upgrade to a <= ~200usd entrance level i5 haswell CPU, but many people advice me to wait for skylake.
new CPU usually are more expensive, do you think I get a i5 6400 or 6500 within 200 usd?
 
New CPUs cost the same as old. Plus any inflation adjustment.

So just look at the CPU it replaces in terms of price.
