Sure, sure. It's an immature process, has immature BIOS's on the available boards, etc etc. But this was hoped to be the new Core 2 Duo of processor families.

I think Tom's hit the nail on the head, saying the exciting thing about this launch is the chipset's new features.

Personally I think it's very sporting of Intel to give AMD yet MORE time to catch up. 😉
 
Lol, yea I've nearly finished reading AT's article on Skylake, just a minor speed bump it seems.

Still I'm hoping it'll push down the prices of older CPUs, like the 4820k I'm looking for 😉.
