I'm taking a half day today so im gonna bullsh1t here at work until 11 then drive to NY and jump out of a plane. Then goto happy hour and eat wings and drink beer. Hope everyone has a great weekend. :beer:

That was clearly the coolest thing i have ever done in my life. I recommend this life affirming activity to everyone young and old.

Only one problemm everything else i do from now will seem so inadequate.
 
i went skydiving for the first time last year, and i absolutely loved it. i'm hoping to take my father and brothers sometime next month!

My father and grandfather were in the airborn while in the army. They both skydived until my grandfather passed away.

I would love to go myself and my dad has been wanting to go again. but neither one of us has the time. i also really don't have that much money to blow. but i really want to go!
 
I used to be into skydiving when I was in school after the army. It was a lot of fun. My brother still does it and is at a meet in Rantoul, IL this week.
 
I've only gone skydiving once in my life. Without question, it was the greatest thrill I've ever had. I need to go again, but it's not in the budget right now.

been bungy jumping but never sky diving, wanna go sky diving soon seems like a long process though before you can go by yourself.
 
I did... I went out day after I turned 18... Had a blast, and the instructor was great... Static line of course, but that was fine by me...

Haven't done free fall yet, as I haven;t accumulated enough jumps consistently (only 1 or two a year, if that).
 
I went skydiving my first year at college with 4 other buddies from my dorm. It was the best experience of my life. You will see life in a different light for several weeks/months. After that, it goes back to normal. But overall, I think everyone should do it, at least once in their life.

there was a great show about skydiving on Discovery Wings the other day. it was all about HALO jumping in the army, it was quite kick ass. jump from 35,000, open your chute at 4000 and be ready to fight when you hit the ground. the night drops were pretty awesome.

what's the cost? i'd like to go, but i hear it costs quite a bit, at least relative to what the typical student makes 🙂

our group rate brings it to 165.....not bad in my opinion but then again i've dropped 100+ at the bar on numerous occasions.
