I've been trying to figure out how. My guess is that it's some sort of model with a model airplane engine. You can see a trail of smoke in the video. I just can't figure out how it's flying. I didn't see any wings.

Same model, different video.

The other video started with a guy pushing the thing like it was a regular lawn mower, then it took off.

Looks like they've made some improvements to the original design, extra cross wing half way up handle (aileron?), and more power.

If you look closely while it's landing toward the end you can see the "handle" and the intermediary bar in between the "handle" and "mower" are shaped more like wings than steel pipe, and my guess is other parts of it are aerodynamic and shaped to provide lift. Well, that, or it's an alien spacecraft <cue creepy music> :Q
