get some nice Furniture.

the older I get the more I like "Need" gifts then "want"

See, I agree...however as many of you know, Skoorb has some growing up to do....

You can always buy him a maturity upgrade............ but he won't like it because it involves prison & a guy named bubba :Q ;) better let him mature naturally ;)

Cheers,
Aquaman

I think he'll learn the first time he drops the soap... :D

Screw furniture. Too expensive and no fun. Don't forget that this is one of the gifts I want.

Furniture is OUT of the question for two reasons:

1) Boring
2) To buy anything we need it would blow our meager budget that is set aside for xmas gifts. It's about the spirit, not the money!

1) Yah you are right it's pretty practical
2) The "spirit" of xmas was bought and sold around the time the assembly line was invented ;)

I am basically in the same dilemna. Trying to buy a house AND tackle Christmas!! :( Ugh. It's gonna take some small miracles to do both but the kids gotta have a Christmas too even if a house is the best gift that dad could get them. I will have to worry about more furniture next year.

I got the same mug from Quicktrip, just without the logo, for 5.99 minus a 2.00 coupon. Plus, I get refills on the mug for 0.69.

18.99 for a mug is outrageous. Go get a stainless mug from QT, sand it down, and apply your favorite logo for free.
