Furthermore, he doesn't have a clue how to drive his truck. You can't gun those on slick roads with nothing in the box to weigh the back end down. Otherwise they fishtail like crazy.

Yeah it's hard to feel sympathy for either.

Chick was driving in the passing lane, eventually she passed 2 trucks but obviously wasn't simply passing them. Using a cell phone while driving, this is possibly legal where she lives but is fairly dangerous in general. Possibly driving a little too slow, but I didn't notice posted speeds. Fails to render aid.

Guy was tailgating, almost on her bumper at times. Since there weren't really any vehicles in the right lane, he could have passed her there w/o issue. Wreckless driving while he was giving her the finger and not even trying to look at the road. Unsafe speeds for the road conditions. Probably missing one here.

Usually, when an idiot is tailgating you because you aren't going fast enough for him, while driving in the left lane, the idiot flashes his lights and even honks his horn.

This idiot appears to just be tailgating.

Google maps street view of the road in question (SR-41 or US-41 near Gibsonton, FL) indicates she was pretty much going the speed limit and that it would be acceptable to drive in the left lane as it's more of a boulevard than a highway.

It's not her fault that he couldn't control his temper. Now his truck is wrecked. He's got a careless driving charge, expensive insurance premiums to look forward to for the next several years, and it's all caught on tape for everyone to see. Sure sucks to be him :).

IMO It would be worth the ticket for using a cell while driving to catch something like that on video.

(unless she has right handed steering).

Don't you just love it how everyone suddenly goes "should not have been driving in the left lane on a highway *bunch of expletives*"?

First, this is not a highway. Second, the woman claims she had to make a left turn in half a mile, and if you watch the whole video to the end, she does pull into the left turn lane at the end of it.

Outrage not justified.

It's not illegal to drive in the left lane in every state. Nor are you always required to make way for faster traffic.

i had a asshole pickup fucktard doing that same shit to my yesterday. i dont know wtf his problem was because i can only go as fast as the car in front of me, and he could not pass due to oncoming traffic. my foot was itching to do a brake check and just take the damage.

The fucked up thing is she was recording before there was really an issue. She wanted an issue to happen.

I deal with this daily in S. Florida. Today some guy which I wouldn't expect to be doing this shit was in a lower/tricked out Civic and doing 60 in the left lane of I95 (65 mph indicated). Doing the 'finally putting your blinker on and trying to get over' once you are being passed...then went back to the left lane.

I just came right in front of him and slowed his slow down. Indicated with my hand that he needed to move over. He then proceeded to go 80MPH+ to keep up with me never riding my ass though :)

i cant, two lane country road with a 12 inch shoulder speed limit is 65, semis ahead of me were doing 60 so i guess that was too slow for the asshat.

Yeah, add that time to the ~40 seconds of the video that shows no vehicles in the other lane... She could have started the pass at 25-30 seconds in to get around those two trucks.

This was completely avoidable with, get this, defensive (or rather, smart) driving. That being said, got a ton of satisfaction from seeing the guy wreck.

Gene pool would be cleaner with both of these types of people filtered.
