In any event it's very very rare that a remake surpasses the original particularly when talking about UK --> US remakes.

Yeah, I watched it. I'll give the rest of the season a go but this one didn't really do much for me. I thought it was sort of 'blah'.

BTW, The Inbetweeners is one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. I usually hate awkward comedy, and there's plenty of sections I just have to look away, but the rest of the time its fucking hilarious! "..and I compared a girl to a giant cock-sucking American landmark" lmfao. Season 3 doesn't seem to be as good as season 2 for me, which I think so far is the funniest, but it's still incredibly entertaining. If you guys are enjoying these other shows then I guarantee you'll love this one!

Told ya, it's awesome isn't it, I can't believe that you can't show that stuff in america!... Loved the show. They are doing two specials and a film and thats it.

Saw this on Netflix Instant a few days ago, watched series 1 episode 1.

It was really boring. I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be comedy or drama. It was just sort of stuff happening to people, but none of it was exciting, interesting, or funny.

Somehow this show provokes emotions in me towards the characters that I don't feel for people in REAL life.

That's the MTV version which is horrible.
The British version (currently in season 5) is good stuff. If you like that kinda stuff.
