Skiiers/CO People: Getting from breckenridge to denver?

I'm going to be flying out of Denver on the 16th- and I need a shuttle to Denver international from Breckenridge.
The going rate seems to be about $53 from shuttle express - is this right?

Anybody have any suggestions for getting from breck to denver more cheaply/better? That is about 40% of what my entire plane ticket back to Minneapolis is going to cost.

Why not rent a car. If that 53 is one way then I guess you'll be leaving too, so for 106, you'd be able to get a car for a couple of days.
