Skiers: how often do you get your skis waxed?

Since the mountains I go to (locally) don't have great snow, I have mine waxed after 5 days of snowboarding. I also recently had a mini-maintenance (edges, etc.) that should last 'til the end of the 04/05 season.

I know a friend who has his board hot waxed once per season! But then again, he doesn't go as often as I do (I've gone at least 7 times now -- he's gone only 3). Then again, he goes to Mammoth, Heavenly (Tahoe) and Whistler (Canada); Whilst I go to Mountain High, Mt. Baldy, Bear Mountain and Mammoth...
