Ski Trip to Utah...

Scarpozzi

Lifer
I'm going on a ski trip to Utah Jan 3-7. I just checked the 10 day forcast and guess what's on its way....
SNOOOOOW!!!!!
I certainly hope they get hammered with the stuff just before I get there. Gonna hit SLC's slopes... Brighton, Snowbird, and Solitude. Different resort each day! PRAY FOR SNOW!

I actually snowboard, but I'm going out there with Nissangurl to show her that Colorado sucks this time of year. She's only been skiing one time and went to Breck the second week of December... I think they had 35-40" mid mountain. I just want the snow to fall because most slopes in SLC only have about 58-60" right now. They were 77" 2 weeks ago.

There's a reason our license plates say "Greatest Snow on Earth" or as my grandmother use to say: "That's Utah snow, so dry you could use it as kindling."

i snowboard too. the big bowl at the top is amazing when it dumps the night before.

You can pretty much count on fresh snow every day that you are there.

If may not be exactly where you are skiing that day, but you can find it.

Cool. We're gonna be in SLC Jan 1-6th skiing as well. Solitude , Alta, and maybe Park City

Can't believe how much snow they get there. We're not bringing our snowboards, just skis this time

never been before, but looks killer. and all pretty convenient to downtown and airport

Colorado is the worst this time of the year... they get the most crowds between Christmas and New Years. You'd have to be crazy to go skiing there unless you like waiting in chairlift queues for 40 min.
