Skating question

I go recreational skating once in a while. I don't have any aspirations to play hockey or figure skate, really, but I am quite sick of renting skates to spend time on the ice.

What kind of skates should I buy?

(I'm a guy)

I started playing hockey about 3 months back. Picked up a pair of Bauer Vapor XI's for $130 (included 1st sharpening, heat molding, and boot pressing if needed) @ the local pro shop. Good entry level skate, and has held up quite well so far.

The one thing I recommend is to get professionally fitted for each skate brand if you are going to order online. Sizing is so screwy amongst the manufacturers, you don't know what you are going to get.
