Skateboarding clips updated - two good clips

There's two clips on there. The first one (skateclip.wmv) is a complete one of good tricks and falls. It's 2:36 long. It's actually about 10mb, but because when I goto the tripod FileManager my IE freezes, I just uploaded the longer clip but didn't change the html.

Yah I guess so. Only one of us is really any good (the one you see 180 down stairs, ollie down 4 stairs, 5-0) so I'd have to go through a lot of footage to find some other good stuff. Once we get done making our second video I'll go through and do a more complete "best of" video.

At the end in the clip though I wanted to have a bunch of his bails because he tried ollieing off the porch like 15+ times so I put in some of the misses then when he made it once.

Well the divx file was like 10mb! I think part of it was because you can't select mp3/divx audio compression in premiere. Even with divx fast motion @ 1500 bit rate the file was much bigger than the wma. There was that thread a couple days ago about asf, wma, avi and of course everyone likes divx but look there, I couldn't get divx to be as small but to be as good of quality as wma. The worst part about wma is that it takes so long to start playing if you skip ahead though.

I have our completed skating video but right now its 925mb cause it's maxed quality. It'd still be like 200-300mb though and I doubt anyone would be interested cause I'd have to setup an ftp and I have a slow upload.

Download the HTML file, which is 3MB+, and change the name from "skateclip.html" to "skateclip.mpg", and it'll work fine.

If you're not able to view it try BFG10k's suggestion or one of the others.

I made a 2:30 clip with more good tricks and stuff in it and some music and slow motion but a couple parts are messed up from the slow motion. I must have did it wrong! Damn! A split second is like missing so it messes up the whole thing. I'd put this one up anyway cause its TIGHT but its 75mb! Its maxed divx quality though because its bad enough converting compressed (divx) compressed again to wmv. Damn premiere... I can't export to wmv and I can't use a good audio codec.

It's the first 6 minutes of a video that my brother's friends did. It's really well done. The sound didn't come out that great when I recorded it off VHS though.

The whole thing is like an hour long or something, I'll psot more if anyone want sto see it.

Not sure if anyone cares but I myself am pretty impressed with the bigger clip. It's pretty much my first time editing in Premiere and I get so pumped to skate watching it but then I realize it's too cold outside.

Tripod kicks ass btw. I don't know if there is a bandwidth limit but you get 50mb for free and I just choose that single banner on top of the page!
