sk7 questions. Which Fan??? Something fast,cheap and cool(8rda+ or ps)

Im getting either sk-7 and a XP 2100+ or 2400+ cpur (retail or oem). Do i have to prep beforce application or can i install the cpu, put layer off as3 on it and the hsf then install.
Or do I have clean everything before hand even though they are new


I have heard things about plugginf in fan to mobo. Do i do this or directly to pc?

No,you don't need to clean it.Just put on your AS3 on the CPU and put a little AS3 in the middle of the heatsink and rub it in until its gone where the core makes contact with HS.

top right side of the mobo...you will see 2 sets of 3pin connects...that is where you plug in the "cpu fan"

ahh i see. I thought some people said dont plus the fans into the mobo

there are actually some mobos that will not boot unless the cpu fan is pluged in
