Is it really a Good Thing? to connect the delta up to my motherboard's power connection? Or should I find some sort of converter and draw direct off the PSU.

Ambient temp/CPU temp went up abit sinc eI ditched my old gf2mx200 for my shiny gf3 :D
Gotta cool myself down some more, so I'll replace my stock with that monster. Possibly OC abit, too :D

since it'd be my first time removing goo and junk from the CPU core, any recommendations on methods which don't require a great deal of difficulty and/or risk? I don't feel li ke re-purchasing a CPU with flight delays gauranteed :(

I wouldn't reccomend running a delta of the motherboard header. get an adapter to run it directly off the power supply that is what i do.
