Is it really a Good Thing? to connect the delta up to my motherboard's power connection? Or should I find some sort of converter and draw direct off the PSU.

Gotta cool myself down some more, so I'll replace my stock with that monster. Possibly OC abit, too
since it'd be my first time removing goo and junk from the CPU core, any recommendations on methods which don't require a great deal of difficulty and/or risk? I don't feel li ke re-purchasing a CPU with flight delays gauranteed
