SK Hynix 16 Gb DDR4 memory modules available now.

Previously we have had 8 Gb memory modules, which allowed up to 128 GB in single stick. It means that effectively we should see now double the size of memory, while at the same time - lowering the prices. It should move simply 16 GB dual channel setup in price in the territory of current 8 GB, am I right?

Hopefully that means that *eventually* there will be 16GB single rank DIMMs with performance characteristics similar to Samsung B-die.

Wishful thinking in the short term given those mediocre timings, but I would love to have high performance 16GB single rank DIMMs available as an option.
