SK-7 for XP2500+ barton?

I'm thinking about the SK-7 w/ panaflo or YS-tech variable fan. this would be for a XP2500 barton on a MSI KT3 Ultra2.

anything else reccomeded? maybe I should just use the stock AMD cooler? I'm buying the retail version.

The SK-7 w/ panaflo or YS-tech will run the Barton cooler then the Retail HS/Fan by @ least 5C's in my guesstimation...I currently replace my Barton 2500 HS/Fan with an AX-7(similar comparisons) with 1 of those lighted LED low noise Fans that runs @ 2500RPM and those were my results.

The Barton 2500 actually dissipates less heat than any palomino core, 53.7w to 54w nominally, versus 58w and 60w (for a 1500+, 72w for a 2100+) at maximum. Get a Panaflo L1A or an NMB ultra quiet, even consider undervolting what you do get.
EDIT:
I always get the OEM version (if you can find it for a Barton? :confused because I know I won't use the stock cooling. It's loud and inefficient.

the price difference was like $3, I figure for 3 bucks I get a heat sink and 3yr warranty
