Can someone who has this heatsink please tell me how had is it to install?
Has anyone cracked the cpu core with it?
Thanks.

Jennifer...

There was a thread a cpuple days ago about this very subject. And..since i'm a nice guy, i'll repeat what i said back then. It is a bit of a pain to install if your not used to using that type of clip (which i was not). And the fan clips will test your patience a bit. But... my cpu temp went down 8 degrees from 39 to 31 C. 2 degrees above the motherboard temp and 8 degrees above room temp. So..if your gonna O/C...its worth a small hassle.

Its completely easy to install the only problem is making sure you have it at the right orientation in the first place. Once you have it resting on the chip it's a simple matter to hook the far clip on and then get a screwdriver and use it to ease the 2nd clip in place. I find it an extremely easy heastsink to fit and remove, easier than the Taisol in fact. It's usually a good idea to remove the board (or slide out the motherboard tray if you have one) to allow plenty of room to operate...
