I just got my SK-6 last night with the delta fan from newegg.
Upon installation with ASII, I noticed that the temps were only 2C lower at 57-58C for the cpu. I put my hand over the fan and noticed it was blowing outward from the mb. The sticker of the fan was up, that's why I put it on that way. I flipped the fan around so it could blow downwards to the heatsink and my temps dropped about 8C vs the retail h/s+fan.

SK6 is definitely designed for the fan to blow on the CPU. Very much unlike Alpha heatsinks.

Gosh, for a minute I was about to warn you not to try this or you could wind up in the ER...

If you used Artic Silver2 on it you should see a couple more degrees drop in the next day or so. I did on mine anyways and it is definitely a blower.

I switched my fan around so it is now sucking air in through the fins and blowing out the top. My case fans then suck the hot air out of the case. I sealed around the fan so it would be for sure taking air in through the fins. I think it is running at the same temps if not a degree cooler with it blowing hot air out the top. I thought i would just try it and see what happened and it seems to work great like this.
