according to the rebate its only for fry's and outpost.com

From my experience, you can't PM the price after rebate. They will only PM to the register price. Else, if two companies had the same rebate and pricematched, you could effectively get the discount twice.

PM after MIR price is definitely YMMV.

I've been able to do at Fry's on two occassions - once for a Turtle Beach SC (PM'd to CC) and a 120-GB WD drive (PM'd to BB). I had no problems with the TBSC but the hard drive took a call to their Buyer before it was approved.😀
