Sizing a citizen watch

Does anyone know if there are any tricks to removing a link from a citizen watch?

I'm lazy and cheap, but you're right, i dont want to mess up this watch..

It's really a bargain to get a band adjusted for $5 plus or minus. I would have expected jewelry stores to adopt an attitude of "you didn't buy it here, so you will pay through the nose to get it adjusted".

Take it to Boston Store and have them do it for free. Or wherever you actually bought it form should do it for free too.

how are Citizen watches anyway? I saw a really nice Eco-Drive model at Marshall Field's the other day but when taken out of the display case, the second hand was morving erratically.

The second hand does that as a visual indicator that the battery is running low. Once it's been recharged, it returns to normal.

I have one and they use a special little jewlers tool to take the pin out and remove/add a link....
