size: MSI MEGA vs. Shuttle XPC

Take a look at this info sheet on the MEGA: MSI MEGA and note the picture towards the bottom showing all sides of the machine.

Is it just me or is this thing LONG?? ~50% longer than a Shuttle XPC! That could be its only drawback IMHO...

Have no idea what they mean by "Packing Dimensions", but if you take the "Dimensions" reading, the MSI cube is 20mm longer than Shuttle's SN41G2 box. Not that big of a prob

Naw... not much bigger at all! I missed the dimensions... it sure LOOKS long in that picture! I'm looked at a Shuttle in person and it didn't seem quite as long as that!

EDIT: Upon looking at the sites, I noticed the MSI is the same 20mm *shorter* than the Shuttle XPC so it all evens out.

The Shuttle XPC's aren't exactly square, either. They look like a cube in the ads, but they're really 50% longer than they are wide.

Yea, I have a shuttle and its not a little box. Its a rectangle. If its longer then the shuttle, it would only be by like 1 inch.

I have no idea about the dimensions or anything else regarding the MSI unit, but it seems pretty darn awesome.

BTW, I just bought me a Shuttle the other day...

EDIT: I hope that MSI unit is all-aluminum...

So is it just me or does it look they just slapped a board and processor into a stereo? I dunno it might be cool...I just hope they come out with other colors than what they show on their site. I love my Shuttle SN41G2 so far.
