Size difference between Corsair 400R and 500R?

I'm deciding between these 2 cases. Is there not a lot of size difference between the two? Apparently the 400R is 20.5" x 8.1" x 19.8" and the 500R is 20.5" x 8.1" x 20". I thought the 500R would be noticeably larger.

Not sure how accurate this is, I tried to do an online comparison between my current CM334 case:

33931-CM334-vs-500R-vs-400R

I thought the 400 and 500 were the same thing.
The 500 has removable 3.5 drive bays, the side is more open (bigger perforation area) with a 200 fan.

I just ordered the 500R and that is what I was told by others when I was comparing them.
corsair site says 20.5” x 8.1” x 20” and 20.5” x 8.1” x 19.8”
I have no idea what the .2" comes from.
maybe the 500 has bigger feet LOL

I tried Googling for side by side pics of the 400R vs 500R but couldn't find any.
It was my first time looking at these two cases, so I sort of just assumed the 500R would be bigger! Apparently only by 0.2"... if that's the case I may just pick up the 500R.

Thanks!

I got the black 500R. Ease of build was pretty good overall... but couple issues:

- the SSD gets in the way of the bracket rails. needed to angle it back into the HD chassis

- I mounted my Corsair PSU fan side down. Two of the holes on the back don't line up correctly, so I ended up with only 2 screws attached to the PSU

honestly i got my 500r at a micro center with the two sitting right next to each other on a shelf.. i could have almost sworn they were the same size.

i grabbed a black case and the case is amazing. going from a mid tower to this is huge difference.

lol, just realized my question said 'mugging' when it should have said 'anything'. Damn you autocorrect. Anyway, I figured out the switch is supposed to control the speed of the supplied fans.

I'm still loving the case, but a new concern occured to me... if I spilt a drink over the top of the case the results would NOT be pretty. I guess the only solution is to re-locate the tower to somewhere safer?
