Derek Coleman is having an AMAZING game. he always had the talent but his attitude and fortitude were questioned in the past. he seems to have put most of that behind him. wonder if he regrets having wasted all his talent when he was younger.

i watched it (i only watch laker games from the comp chair 🙂 ) great game and go sixers!

detroit is about to get owned in game 5

We suck...but I think we'll still win at home. They owned us in Philly just as much as we owned them at home.

But yeah, we'll still lose in the next round, regardless. bah. Watching that game just pissed me off.

Billups is hurt and Wallace is hurt, that about explains this game. But it don't matter Lakers gonna win it all!!!

🙂

that's why everyone hates laker fans. you guys are soo arrogant. 🙂

i guess it's no different with Yankees fans. 🙁

anyway, i wouldn't dismiss the east so quickly, the nets are playing a different game then they did during the season.

during the game they showed Carmello Anthony in the stands. anyone catch what was said during the interview? i had the volume down, so i couldn't hear anything.

i'm curious if they talked about the chance that the Pistons could get a high enough pick this year to draft Anthony.

*looks up to God*

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease 🙂

regarding the game, Kenny Thomas and D.C. are destroying us on the boards. that combined w/ the fact that we're a horrific road playoff team, it wasn't pretty.

IMO, the Piston's demise comes when we start isolating for one on one. the only time I'm confident of our one-on-one is when Corliss is on the block. why we don't use him more is beyond me.

the series will be ugly for the Pistons if we don't get our act together. watching games 1/2 vs 3/4, we look like two completely different teams. in games 3/4 we were timid and made dumbass turnovers. in games 1/2 our passing was crisp and quick. the disparity between our home intensity and road intensity is too great right now, for us to be a contender to make it to the Finals, IMO. if we can play with the energy and intensity on the road, like we do at home, i am confident we have a good chance of beating any team in the east.

Next to the Pistons winning the NBA championship 😉 , I want New Jersey to win it all. Of course it's a longshot, but I'd love to see the upset of an Eastern conf. team winning it all 🙂

I gotta think the Sixers have a real chance to take their momentum in and win one at Detroit. Playing Billups yesterday was a dumb move, I don't think he'll be a threat on Wednesday, and Ben Wallace has been really underwhelming as far as I've seen. If the Sixers play solid defense like they have been the past two games, and keep the Pistons shooting from the outside, they have a great chance.

have you watched NJ lately tho??

to be honest tho, the seedings didn't work in NJ favor. NJ dominates boston, Detroit Dominates NJ and Boston Dominates Detroit, IF the regular season is any indication. IF boston had been in Detroits side of the draw, they would have beaten detroit and lost to NJ.

no matter, NJ is playing better than they have all season.

LeeTJ, if you're going to make this the OFFICIAL thread, i do believe you need to update the series 😀

Thread Updtated. 🙂

sorry about the late updates.

Ya, detroit came thru BIG time. 76'ers will probably win game 6 leading to the inevitable game 7 in Detroit. Either way NJ benefits if you ask me.

I can't believe what happened last night. What a heart-gouger. Sixers need to sotp giving the Pistons so much of a lead. Pistons can't play from behind - you can not afford to let that team get such a huge lead.
