N.Y. will get like D.C. Heck, I was downtown looking at the Cherry blossoms yesterday by the Tidal Basin and a guy fell out on the sidewalk. The fire truck that arrived was from China Town - half way across the city.

A few of the smaller fire houses in my city have closed down, most notably the one that's not even a mile from my house the next closest one is at least 4 miles away...
