Six feet under is the best show on today.

I completely agree. I don't know of any other show on television today that has the same depth.

Six Feet Under is a great show, I just got finished watching the first season on dvd. I always wait for HBO shows to come out on dvd, since I always miss an episode when it is originally aired. I think I like it even more than The Sopranos and Oz.

What would life be like without TV...I'm scaring myself now.

Shows that I don't miss:

Six Feet Under
Sopranos repeat
Boomtown
24

If I'm not busy, I'll try and watch scrubs. Its funny as hell, it took me an episode or two to get into it. Kiyup, give it a shot. It's fairly clever and well-written.

I really don't watch any TV, and boomtown now doesn't look good to me now looking into the site.

On anothe note, and according to this forum 24 is the sh!t to watch. Well I gave it a try a few weeks ago.

I admit I missed the first few minutes of my first try. It was when a nuke was in LA.

They had to fly it out to the desert since the ocean would irradiate beaches and fisheries for years.

The nuke couldn't be disarmed, but I missed the first few minutes so they may have explained that.

Then Keifer had to get in a cessna and fly it to the desert. Stupid. Stupid. STUPID.

That show sucks and I won't bother giving it a try again.

I loved the first season of 6' but the episodes this year haven't engaged me that much. Do you think this season is as good as last year's? My favorite show now is L&O reruns.

I agree. I haven't enjoyed this year too much so far, but I'm waiting for it to come along.

Bah.. The best show on is Lexx, on the Sci-Fi Channel. How can you beat this plot:

"Boomtown" (2000) Kai escapes from Gametown to Boomtown, where pretty people have sex all day.

(no relation to the NBC show Boomtown)

I've watched two episodes of Six feet under, and there was just too much sex and homosexual stuff in it for me to enjoy.... and plus it was about a little baby that died anyway......so I've been burned from that show ever since.

I don't know about the "best" show on TV. Scrubs is the funniest I think (on most nights.....) but there are a lot of good dramas to choose from for the other category. If it were two years ago I'd say Sopranos Hands down. But season 3 just smoked big nutz until the head/hands/body disposal began. Boomtown is good some days...."The Rat" episode was great...or wtf it was called.

Ah, ya. I like supernatural stuff.....so I really like Miracles....or XFiles--the return. :) Sex and the sh!ty is junk now.....but the first three seasons were great.....but I guess 24 is the show I would make a point to watch if I could only watch one.

24 isn't episodic in nature, if you start in the middle, its like jumping into the middle of a book, your only going to get screwed.

the dvd set is out for the 1st season, u can rent it.

Six Feet Under is one of those HBO shows. The thing is there's still a LOT of people who don't have HBO, but you'd never know it by the disproporitionate amount of media attention they get. We had HBO for awhile, but ended up cancelling it since it was pretty much nothing BUT shows and just a handful of movies. While some of the shows were very good, there's plenty of other good shows on other networks these days and I'd much rather have movies be the focus if I'm paying extra for premium channels (hence, we got Starz instead.)

Shows I go out of my way to see/record:

-Scrubs (like NFS4 said, funniest show on TV)
-CSI Miami (I actually like it better than the original)
-The Dead Zone (if this were on a major network it would be huge)
-Insomniac with Dave Attell (doesn't really belong in a list like this, but I love it anyway)

Waiting for Brenda to come back. Now SHE is really sexy hot (I didnt say beautiful)

Why does everybody seem to think the redhead is sooooo beautiful??? just dont see it. She IS nice but not the rave everybody on and off the show says. Also not the stick fashion model image that seems so in today, Ill give her that.
