Hi... I just ordered the Abit NF7 and it's on its way here atm. I've read the NF7-S thread and I'm a bit confused about the BIOS issue. Exactly what do I have to do to avoid it?

Can you be more specific about the problem you are trying to avoid? I am aware of no problems...

IF you push the FSB TOO High you can corrupt the bios.

I've had a large # of orders for new chips on this board. Must be true I quess Don't know I don't own this particular board.

Hmm, I've pushed my system to 225MHz in the past with no BIOS corruption. Must be the old Rev. 1.x boards...

Most of the older gen. nF2 boards suffered the bios corruption issue but the newer gen. boards do not. I experienced it on an older Soltek SL-75MRN-L but was able to recover the board by popping the battery and bios chip for 10-15min, not once but twice. Many others weren't so fortunate and they had to resort to hot flashing, ordering new chips, or RMAing their boards.
