sitting out in my car to use WiFi internet connection.

i'm just wondering...

as i'm sitting in my car to use some generous person's WLAN...
'cause i don't have a cable/dsl connection at home...
and i don't want to use a dial-up...

how many other's are doing the same thing here.

i recently started using wifi card to connect to internet.
in nyc... there're many places where you can find free hotspots.

i used to spend hours driving around... looking for one.
until i found nycwireless.net 🙂

thank God for those hotspots...
laptops, wifi cards, and dc-ac inverters. 🙂

There's an entire culture dedicated to wardriving. Around where I live there's tons of WiFi access. Mine doesn't count cause I've got it locked down.

I'm sitting in my living room using my own wifi network. No one else can use it unless I allow thier mac address. I live in an apartment building, and I don't need all my neighbors getting free internet at my expense.
