I'm looking for websites that let you customize your own photo album (by providing digital pics) that can then get printed, bounded and shipped. (I'm not just referring to an album you can slide pictures into, but something more like a matted album).

The only site I've found so far is PhotoWorks.

Go to an Apple Store and use iPhoto :D. I can assure you they have the best consumer books in the biz, and are reasonably priced.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the link I found for iPhoto makes it seem like I have to purchase software in order to create the albums?

snapfish.com

Sign up for free and use the pic uploader. You can show anyone the albums. They also have the cheapest pic printing and best quality on the net imo.

Which is why I said to go to an Apple store. You can use the computers for as long as you want.

My wife and I used mypublisher.com to order a scrapbook of our honeymoon. You download the software and then after you've finished the layout and editing you upload everything to their site. About a week later and around $40 after shipping we had our photo album.
