Sites not displaying, forcing FlushDNS...rinse, repeat?

I'm having problems in my office, I noticed it was happening on my computer that sites (facebook & twitter mostly, but the occasional other site as well) would just simply not come up. Would just get a no access, blank white page.

Seems other PCs in the office are having a similar problem with work-crucial sites so this is posing a serious problem now and I have no clue what's causing this or how to fix it. I've miraculously been free of problems for 2 weeks now *knock on wood*

I have found that running "ipconfig /flushdns" will unclog things, but the issue will relapse in a variable time shortly thereafter.

Any advice?

Are you running your own internal DNS server (Active Directory)? What are the computers using for a DNS server? Not 192.168.1.1 I hope.. 😀

Try changing the DNS server to OpenDNS (208.67.222.222) or Google (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) or Verizon (4.2.2.2,4.2.2.3,4.2.2.4)
